Accessible Bookshelf is a book club for all people. Built on foundation that inclusion belongs in our reading circles
Are you a disabled bookworm who wants to read with me? Interested in learning more about my book club? Read below for more information:
If you require any accommodations that aren’t already offered, please let me know. I am always striving to be more accessible. If you are finding any aspect of the read along is not accessible, please shoot me an email
Once a month on the 15th, I will release 3 picks for a book: a picture book, a YA-middle school, and a general adult level book. These picks allow everyone to read.
Depending on needs and choices, we may incorporate more languages. All books are chosen with diversity and have disability in mind. Have a good book in mind? Please send me an email.
We will host group discussion via Google Hangouts/Zoom, depending on what’s best and our Facebook group. The social media will also detail some of what I’m reading. As I’m including all disability, I want all members of our community to feel included. All books will be available as traditional print, e-reader, and audiobook formats.
Twitter Hashtag (Not sure how to use a Twitter hashtag? To keep active, you’ll always include the hashtag #AccessibleBookShelf)
Make sure to check back here for my latest update on the book picks (it will be a new post) and for my review! Have other questions? As I said, shoot over an email!
